Para el Gobernador Alfredo Del Mazo Maza, generar alianzas entre las diferentes instituciones autónomas y gubernamentales a favor de la promoción y protección de los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes mexiquenses es una prioridad, por ello, la Secretaría de las Mujeres (Semujeres), a través del Sistema de Protección Integral de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes (SIPINNA), firmó un convenio de colaboración con la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEM).
El convenio signado con la Facultad de Derecho tiene como objetivo impulsar estudios e investigaciones en temas prioritarios de niñez y adolescencia mexiquense, desde el ámbito de las atribuciones de cada instancia, en beneficio del interés superior de la niñez.
Para lograr este objetivo, la Universidad adoptará el mecanismo de participación infantil y adolescente “Buzón Siopinna”, instrumento que ayudará a generar información que sirva de base para estas investigaciones y para aportar datos que colaboren en la toma de decisiones, planes y proyectos para la generación de soluciones a problemas de niñas, niños y adolescentes.

Olga María Esquivel Hernández, Secretaria Ejecutiva del SIPINNA, señaló que la titular de la Semujeres, Martha Hilda González Calderón, ha impulsado la participación de las infancias a través de diversas acciones como el Pacto por la Primera Infancia, diálogos intergeneracionales y el Consejo Consultivo de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes.
