Su acta de nacimiento dice Juan Sánchez López, pero en el transcurso de su vida, en algunos documentos se identificó como Juan Manuel Sánchez López y así lo dio de alta su esposa ante el IMSS. Cuando ella murió no le quisieron hacer efectivo el seguro, ya que en el Acta de Matrimonio aparece solo como Juan. Fue entonces que inició en el Poder Judicial del Estado de México, un procedimiento de Identidad de Persona.
Se trata de un procedimiento judicial no contencioso, en el que no existe demanda de por medio, pero es de suma importancia para los ciudadanos en la realización de diversos trámites legales. Es tan común que los juzgados que conocen de la materia Familiar -en línea y los tradicionales-, del 1 de enero al 30 de noviembre de 2020, atendieron 4 mil 132 asuntos en este rubro.
En el periodo que se menciona, se emitieron casi dos mil 100 resoluciones, en las que, mediante pruebas documentales o testimoniales, se acreditó que un ciudadano a lo largo de su vida, en actos públicos y privados, se ha ostentado con varios nombres que corresponden a una misma persona, lo cual le permite regularizar su situación civil.
Del 1 de enero al 19 de marzo, se desahogaron mil 357 asuntos y se emitieron 823 resoluciones. En tanto, del 20 de marzo al 30 de noviembre fueron dos mil 775 asuntos y mil 271 se resolvieron, a fin de responder a la solicitud de la ciudadanía, quien la mayoría de las veces lleva a cabo este procedimiento, para el trámite de pensión, retiro de fondos de ahorro de Afores o asuntos de índole administrativa.
El Juzgado Familiar en Línea tuvo una participación importante, pues del total, atendió 564 asuntos y resolvió 265 vía remota, con lo que el órgano jurisdiccional cumple con su propósito de mejorar la calidad de la impartición de justicia y agilizar los trámites judiciales, desde una plataforma electrónica, tomando en consideración que un trámite de esta índole solo tarda cinco días, desde su inicio hasta su culminación.
Entre los juzgados familiares tradicionales en los que se realizó la mayoría de los procedimientos de Identidad de Persona, se encuentran Nezahualcóyotl, Tlalnepantla, Texcoco, Ecxatepec, Chalco, Jilotepec, entre otros. Para este y otros trámites, se recomienda consultar www.pjedomex.gob.mx
