Los diputados mexiquense de Morena anunciaron que impulsar�n la creaci�n de una reforma de estado que incluye una nueva�Constituci�n, dividir Ecatepec en dos municipios y reducir el n�mero de s�ndicos y regidores en los 125 municipios hasta en 50%.
El Senador mexiquense Higinio Mart�nez y el Presidente de la Junta de Coordinaci�n Pol�tica y coordinador de morena en la Legislatura mexiquense Maurilio Hern�ndez, as� como diputados federales y locales, dieron a conocer que impulsar�n la reforma de Estado de la entidad mexiquense, que incluye una nueva Constituci�n y el marco legal que ello implique.
El senador dijo que es por ello que este martes los diputados de Morena presentar�n reformas a la Ley Org�nica Municipal, para dividir Ecatepec y crear el municipio a 126 llamado Ciudad Azteca.
Escuchar a todos
Aclar� que ser� conformada una comisi�n especial, que servir� para escuchar a todos los sectores de la sociedad, pues si�bien hay una propuesta para la divisi�n de esta demarcaci�n, misma que ha sido presentada por organizaciones civiles, la finalidad es escuchar todas las voces.
Adelant� que la propuesta de Morena busca dividir en dos a esta localidad con m�s de 2.5 millones de habitantes, y que pese a la intervenci�n de autoridades y presupuestos federales, estatales y municipales enfrenta serios problemas, y su actual estructura administrativa es inviable pol�tica y financieramente.
Adem�s se�al� que se buscar� revisar la Constituci�n Pol�tica para adecuarla a las nuevas circunstancias, �vamos a plantear todo un proceso de acuerdos para resolver los problemas por las v�as jurisdiccionales o legislativas�.
Para ello reiter� que se crear� una comisi�n plural, con la participaci�n de acad�micos, sociedad civil, de los poderes�Ejecutivo y Judicial, de las fuerzas pol�ticas para plantear las reformas constitucionales en la entidad.

Sobre la propuesta para reducir s�ndicos y regidores, sino que para el caso de los municipios con menos de 150 mil habitantes�de 12 integrantes, pasar�an a 7 integrantes; los de m�s de 150 mil y menos de 500 mil, pasar�an de 15 a 9 integrantes, y los municipios de m�s de 500 mil habitantes pasar�an de 22, 23 a 12 regidores.
